Biography
Rachel was born and raised in Washington State. She attended Seattle University School of Law and has been practicing since 2005. She has an extensive background in family law and mediation and has now transitioned to estate planning and elder law. She continues to mediate, and acts as a Pro Tem Settlement Conference Judge for the Pierce County Superior Court. She has been selected to the Super Lawyers List every year since 2017 (and to the Rising Stars List for several years before that).
Rachel is passionate about helping people transition through difficult life situations. She places the utmost importance on listening to their goals and determining the best steps to effectuate those goals. She takes a measured approach and considers the options carefully before making her recommendations. She believes in communication and collaboration between client and attorney.
Rachel continues to reside in Tacoma with her husband. She enjoys hiking, reading, gardening (although not proficient at it), relaxing with friends, and traveling.
